1841 Census -  aged 2, with grandparents Thomas and Elizabeth James, at New Bridge St, Dewsbury.

1851 Census - aged 12, woolen piecer "and scholar under the Factory Act", living with parents at New Wakefield, Dewsbury.

1861 Census - aged 22, Iron Moulder, living at North Street with parents.

1871 Census - aged 32, Iron Moulder, living at Bright Street with his wife Ann, daughters Ellen and Patience, and his son William Henry.
also in the same house a lodger William Robinson Triton, aged 20 years, Iron foundry labourer.

1881 Census - aged 42, now a Bookkeeper and a Widower, living at Upper Cross St, Dewsbury with his son and daughters.

1871 Census: aged 6 years, living with parents Smith Almond and Anne James at Bright Street, Dewsbury, and his sisters Ellen aged 9 and Patience aged 1. Also living at the same address William Robinson Triton aged 20 years, lodger and Iron Foundry Labourer.

1881 Census: aged 16 years, living with his father and sisters at Upper Cross St, Dewsbury, Yorkshire, England. (His mother passed away in 1880).

15 Aug 1882, Willian died of Cholera.

1861 Census - aged 20, living with parents at North Street, Dewsbury.

1871 Census - aged 30, living with his wife Sarah, his children William,Annie,Harry and Margaret, at Wood Street, Dewsbury.
Occupation: Pattern Maker (Iron Foundry).

1881 Census - Thomas and his wife Sarah lived in Crackenedge Lane, Dewsbury.  Thomas owned and ran the "Springfield Iron & Brass Foundry" located in Batley Carr Road, Dewsbury.

At the same address was his oldest son, William Herbert (16), working as an Iron Moulder. Annie (15), who was a Power Loom Weaver, Harry (12), working as a errand boy, Margaret (10), Sarah (8), and Edith (6) were all scholars. Zillah was 3 years old.

Jessie Maud was born later during July/Sept 1882.

1891 Census - aged 50, Iron Founder, living at 2 Albion Street, Dewsbury.
At the same address was His wife Sarah, his daughters Sarah (18), Edith (16), Zillah (13), Jessie (8) and His youngest son Harrison (2).


Miss Sarah HARRISON

1851 Census, aged 6 years, living with parents at Harrison's Yard, Leeds.

1861 Census, aged 15 years, working as a house servant at Headingley Hill, Leeds.

1871 Census, aged 27 years, living at Wood Street, Dewsbury with husband Thomas, and children William H, Anne, Harry and Margaret.

Possibly her brother Herbert was living next door (aged 20) with his nephew Arthur Harrison, aged 10 years.

1911 Census, aged 67 years, widow, living at 101 Trafalgar Street East.
At the same address was her son Harrison aged 22 years, occupation Labourer Joiner.

Also at the same address, Jane Pattison, Aged 82 years, aunt to head of houseold. Widow and Retired Furniture Dealer.

1901 Census - aged 58, living at 6 Langdale Villas, Cemetery Road, Scarborough, Yorkshire,  with his wife Betsy and daughter Carrie. Carrie was a music teacher working from home.

1911 Census - aged 68, living at 28 St Johns Avenue, Scarborough. with his wife Betsy and daughter Carrie Tate (married 2 Years).
